A Little About Me
[I would include pictures of people but I'm a strong believer in obtaining consent.]
It's all about the people.
I've always been curious about people. Why they do things, why they don't do things, and what people think about the world around them. You could say I was a steady researcher by the age of 5. From Kenya to Thailand, to my next door neighbors here in Washington, I love to understand people.
As I've aged, my curiosity, along with a passion to help make the world a better place, has led me to research projects within many of society's most difficult issues:
Racial discrimination
Societal inequities
Healthcare
Cancer
Disability
Decision making
These experiences, spanning over 9 years within the academic space, have helped me to develop remarkable analytical abilities and has broadened my capabilities utilizing both qualitative and quantitative research methods. These projects have also impacted countless people, organizations, and lives. That impact is what drives me to solve more of the world's most difficult problems.
When I'm not working, you'll find me learning something new. From cooking techniques to languages, I love to learn and expand my knowledge. Through it all though, I pursue a life that makes me happy and helps others along the way.
